THE ANSWER, VEGA, GIN ANNIE, ATACK AND THE HOT ONE TWO ADDED TO FIRESTORM FESTIVAL LINE UP
Firestorm Festival last year launched and it promised ‘Face Melting Rock’ – well, Face Melting Rock was what we got! With temperatures hitting the high 30’s on stage in peak afternoon, it wasn’t just the music that was ‘red hot’.
In our review of the festival last summer, we said; “Firestorm wasn’t just a great weekend, it was my all time favourite festival! Fantastic people, amazing music and I can’t wait to get back there for 2023”
Well, here we are in 2023, and this morning Firestorm have added another five bands to their already stellar lineup.
The Festival takes place between the 11th and 13th August at Whitebottom Farm in Manchester and promises to be another amazing weekend
The Answer, VEGA, Gin Annie, Atack and The Hot One Two join the line up, which already includes Massive Wagons, Royal Republic, The Virginmarys and Dare to name but a few.
Festival organiser Stret tells us; “We are really excited about Firestorm this year, following the 2022 festival we sent out a survey to all the ticket holders for which over 60% completed , within that we asked them:
“Who would you like to return” and “Who would you like to play”
Of the returns we invited back they all appeared high in the votes. There were bands such as Those Damn Crows etc but we decided that all the headliners should be new. Of the ‘who would you like to see’ we managed to get all of the top 10 votes apart from two bands of which we are talking to about next year. Everyone on this years nine up was either voted for in the return or new category.”
