KK’S PRIEST ANNOUNCE ALBUM RELEASE DATE AND DROP THUNDEROUS DEBUT SINGLE, HELLFIRE THUNDERBOLT
The past week has been a whirlwind for KK’s Priest. After a ‘Countdown’ was launched on the bands website on Friday and then releasing a teaser video on Monday across the bands social media, KK’s Priest have this morning finally unveiled their debut single ‘Hellfire Thunderbolt’.
The KK’s Priest album, Sermons of the Sinner, is available to pre order now, and will be released on the 20th August, via Explorer1 Music Group/EX1 Records. Fans are able to pre-order the debut album in various configurations including an exclusive limited edition autographed Metal Vinyl (Silver Disc) with bonus CD Album, via the band’s online store here: https://found.ee/KKsPriest. The album can be pre-saved via all global digital streaming partners as well.

KK Downing says of the new track; “We are delighted to finally be able to release our first track to the world. It gives a real flavour of the sound and showcases the amazing players I’ve got in this band. We can’t wait for the fans to hear the record.”
With Downing on guitar, KK’s PRIEST also features ex-Judas Priest member Tim “Ripper” Owens on vocals, who fronted the band for eight years and recorded two studio albums, Jugulator, featuring the GRAMMY® nominated track “Bullet Train,” and Demolition, plus two live albums. They are joined by Tony Newton on bass and A.J. Mills on guitar. Sadly, Les Binks who was the original drummer, as announced last year has sustained a wrist injury, so Sean Elg of Cage and The Three Tremors will take his place behind the kit. Les Binks will however make special guest live appearances when the band tours.
SERMONS OF THE SINNER is an incredible collection of future metal classics, sure to be one of the stand-out metal releases of 2021. K.K Downing’s genre-defining guitar style helped establish Judas Priest‘s iconic sound and helped propelled them to one of the top Heavy Metal bands of all-time, earning numerous accolades including a GRAMMY® in 2010 for “Best Metal Performance,” a total of five GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum and gold releases.
