AC/DC TEASE FANS WITH A 30 SECOND SNIPPET OF NEW SONG – A SHOT IN THE DARK
AC/DC have today shared a 30 second snippet of their brand new single, ‘Shot in the Dark’ from their new album, ‘PWR UP’.
The Aussie Rockers have been drip feeding teasers to their fans all week about their eagerly awaited comeback and new record.
Yesterday the band revealed their current line up, confirming that Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd were back. Today we have 30 seconds of the new single, Shot in the Dark. The video also features images that appear to be from the video shoot that accidentally leaked on AC/DC’s official website earlier this month.
The current line up as announced yesterday features Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, bass player Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd.
Speculation has been growing for the last few years about which members would feature on the album, after AC/DC members were spotted outside a recording studio in Vancouver in 2018. The album is rumoured to feature guitar parts written by Malcolm and Angus Young before Black Ice.
Earlier this year, Australian broadcaster Eddie McGuire claimed that the new album would surface in February or March 2020 and a world tour would follow. This, of course didn’t happen, but could well have been due to the current Covid pandemic.
We can only await further announcements but what is for sure, 2020 just got a hell of a lot better!
