KK DOWNING RETURNS TO ‘HOME VENUE’ TO PLAY A FESTIVAL WARM UP SHOW THIS SUMMER

KK Downing will play a festival warm up show at his home venue, KK’s Steelmill, ahead of KK’s Priest’s run of festivals this summer.
The show will be the first time the band will have played together and promises to be an electric night of live music. Support on the night comes from Paul Dianno and Tailgunner.
KK played the Steelmill in 2019 in what was an historic night, teaming up with David Ellefson to play a set of Priest classics. Dubbed ‘MegaPriest’; Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, AJ Mills and Les Binks completed the band lineup that night and not long after that show, KKs Priest was announced.

The Steelmill show is on Thursday 6th July, just before the band head off to Sweden to play Time to Rock in Sweden. then the band go on to play dates in Spain, Belgium and Mexico in December.
Commenting on the show, KK says; “It’s been far too long! But I am stoked to say that KKs priest will once again have the honour playing our first ever gig at the Steelmill on July 6th , The perfect venue with the perfect audience. Metal has come home once more back to where it all started from. Yes, the black country where the embryo was conceived all of those years ago. I am incredibly fortunate to have been a part of it all, I will look forward to seeing you all again rest assured that it will be, “Blood and Thunder,” with “Hellfire Thunderbolts” and much more. We promise to make history together on this special occasion, see you then!!!”
