The Dust Coda have announced a UK tour this October, which will culminate with a show at London’s Dingwalls. The pre-sale launches at 10am tomorrow (12 April) and general sale starts 10am on 14th April.

Fans can access the ticket pre-sale by pre-ordering their new album Loco Paradise at earache.com/thedustcoda now (no purchase necessary).

Everyone who pre-orders Loco Paradise from earache.com/thedustcoda will be sent a pre-sale link once the pre-sale is live from 10am on Wednesday 12th April. Anyone who has already claimed their copy from the Earache Records webstore will get an email with a link too.

Frontman John Drake comments, “The band are lean and mean, frothing like wolves, ready to unleash the mighty beast that is ‘Loco Paradise’ onto stages around the country. It’s gonna be epic, it’s gonna get wild and everybody in the house is getting baptised in sweat and beer. Get ready for the rock’n’roll resurrection.”

The tour news follows last week’s announcement of their hard-hitting new single ‘Road To Hell’, which is the first taste of new music from their forthcoming album Loco Paradise and is coming out July 7th on Earache Records.

As the video shows, ‘Road To Hell’ is the perfect soundtrack to ride off into the sunset with, or to raise a beer and rock out to. Lead singer John Drake says, “It was a gift from the gods of rock’n’roll. I sat down with a beer and my Strat at my mate’s place one afternoon and the riff appeared, then the whole song came together in a few hours.”

It stands as a real statement of intent from what’s to come from the London based rockers, whose raw energy and fire is equally matched to their stellar songwriting across the album’s 11 tracks.

Recorded during the hazy summer heat of 2022, Loco Paradise saw the band take residence together at the divinely picturesque Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, with producer Charlie Russell (Kasabian, Jamiroquai, Wargasm) at the helm. Just as the album cover itself (which features a striking depiction of a winged, crazed eyeball clutching a lightning bolt in its talons) is intended as a piece of art for fans to get lost in, the album is also an experience of immersion.

Guitarist Adam Mackie says, “This album really captures the band at the top of its game. We locked ourselves away in the studio together for a week to live and breathe the creation of ‘Loco Paradise’. Just six people constantly feeding off each other 24 hours a day for 7 days to give life to these songs and elevate them to a place beyond our expectations. The result is a 54-minute testimony of pure, organic rock’n’roll music.”

The new album follows the release of 2021’s Mojo Skyline, which landed them a UK Top 30 spot and saw Classic Rock Magazine selecting the band’s brass-infused track ‘Jimmy 2 Times’ as part of their 300th landmark issue’s ‘The Soundtrack Of Our Lifetime’ list, alongside legends such as Slash, AC/DC and Deep Purple.

Taking inspiration from the turmoil the world is throwing at us, the album serves as a souvenir of darker times but, more importantly, a mantra for hope. John comments, “This record for me is a snapshot of the world in pure chaos: a meditation on isolation and conflict, heartbreak and dystopia – but with a little faith in humanity thrown in for good measure, also.”

“It’s full of emotion, chaos, joy, mistakes, beauty, love, death and everything in between. We really pride ourselves on the voyage through light and shade that we’ve offered listeners with our previous albums, and we’ve pushed the boundaries on that even wider with this album,” Adam continues.

“’Loco Paradise’ is a complete piece of rock’n’roll ecstasy. There is something for everyone and we can’t wait for it to be out there for all to hear!”

With songs that will sound at home in a stadium as they would a club, The Dust Coda have captured the pure essence and utter joy of being in a rock’n’roll band with Loco Paradise.
