GLASGOW ALT-ROCKERS ‘ANCHOR LANE’ RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR SINGLE ‘CHOKE’
Glasgow’s Anchor Lane are coming to the end of a headline tour of the UK and today they release a video for their latest single, ‘Choke’
The band say; “‘Choke’ is about giving in to your imperfections and letting them rule you because it’s easier than actually working on yourself. If suffering in your bad habits and being forever alone is what keeps finding you then it must be fate. Dwell in your misery. Give in. Give in. Give in.”

A live highlight of an Anchor Lane show, ‘Choke’ is the third and final single from the band’s new album Call This A Reality? The song shows off what Anchor Lane do best: fast, pulsating rhythms, aggressive guitars and unshakeable vocal hooks.
Anchor Lane’s new album Call This A Reality? was produced by Bruce Rintoul (TwinAtlantic, Fatherson, Vukovi). The album has received support from BBC Radio One through Daniel P. Carter and Alyx Holcombe,as well as plays on BBC Radio Scotland, a ‘Track of the Week’ on Planet Rock Radio, and a playlist addition on Primordial Radio. It also went straight into four top 10 chart positions within its first week of release, including the Official Rock and Metal Chart and the Scottish Albums Chart.
