KK DOWNING TO BE INCLUDED IN JUDAS PRIEST ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have today announced their class of ’22. The inductee’s include Eminem, Eurythmics and Dolly Parton as well as ‘Metal Gods’, Judas Priest.
Judas Priest will receive the Musical Excellence Award; the official site lists Les Binks, K. K. Downing, Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Dave Holland, Glenn Tipton, and Scott Travis in the list of inductees.
“The Award for Musical Excellence,” the official website states, “shall be given to artists, musicians, songwriters and producers whose originality and influence creating music have had a dramatic impact on music.”
Last year Randy Rhoads was the recipient and Judas Priest and the E Street Band are the only recipients as a group in the category.
