WHITE CRONE – THE ALTER EGO OF AWARD WINNING BLUES ARTIST, LISA MANN
Here at Stoakes Media, we absolutely love discovering new music. Last week, to Danny’s delight, he came across a band who well and truly blew his socks off!
The band in question is White Crone. A mostly one woman project and a ‘love letter’ to the Heavy Metal bands of the 80’s.

White Crone is the ‘metal alter ego’ of Lisa Mann, who herself is an award winning blues artist. Lisa grew up in the mosh pits of the 80’s and despite her ‘blues day job’, she has never lost her love of heavy metal.
The Poisoner pays homage to those great heavy metal days and Lisa herself has been influenced by the likes of Dio, Iron Maiden, Sabbath and many more.
The album really does pack a punch, delivering traditional heavy metal, with traces of prog, proto & doom. Featuring soaring Dickinsonian female vocals, epic dual guitars, thunderous drums & (most especially) iron fisted bass guitar, The Poisoner will take you “back to the day.”
