TONS OF ROCK FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH STELLAR LINE UP
The Tons of Rock Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary this summer and has enlisted rock and metal royalty to help with the celebrations!
The Norwegian festival sees Metallica, TOOL, ZZ Top, Judas Priest and Greta van Fleet take the headline spots with an incredible supporting cast.
Saxon, Avantasia, Uriah Heep and Wolf Van Halen are all on this incredible line up
The festival takes place in Oslo from 26th June till 29th June 2024and it promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience.
Festival CEO Jarle Kvåle comment: “We couldn’t be more pleased with our headliners for our ten-year anniversary Legends, icons and the new blood of rock and metal united. It will be an amazing four-day party”. He then continues: “Bringing Metallica to Norway to celebrate our 10th year is indescribable. International stars like Metallica, TOOL, Judas Priest, Greta Van Fleet and Parkway Drive mixed with Norwegian national treasures like Satyricon, Abbath performing a unique Immortal set and our Swedish neighbors Opeth doing a fan picked set is an absolute dream line up”.

In 10 years, Tons of Rock has become Norway’s biggest festival and the big, annual meeting point for all rock and metal fans in the country. In 2023 the event recorded an all time high welcoming over 100,000 fans from 72 different countries. The festival is now experiencing a booming interest from all around the globe and 2024 will be the biggest and loudest edition to date.
