BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN UK TOUR KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK IN EDINBURGH

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s UK tour starts in Edinburgh on Tuesday 30th May. The tour, which sold out almost a full year in advance, takes in Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium (30^th May), Birmingham’s Villa Park (16^th June) and London’s American Express presents BST Hyde Park (6^th & 8^th July).

The shows sold out in under eight hours and will see Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band perform to over 220,000 fans in the UK. The current European tour, which has sold over 1.6 million tickets, started on 28^th April in Barcelona and runs through to 25^th July in Monza, Italy. The European tour follows the first North American leg, which began on 1^st February in Tampa, Florida and marked Springsteen and The E Street Band’s first tour dates since February 2017. At the conclusion of their European run, Springsteen and The E Street Band will return to North America for a second round of shows.

The E Street Band’s members are: Roy Bittan – piano, synthesiser; Nils Lofgren – guitar, vocals; Patti Scialfa – guitar, vocals; Garry Tallent – bass guitar; Stevie Van Zandt – guitar, vocals; and Max Weinberg – drums; with Soozie Tyrell – violin, guitar, vocals; Jake Clemons – saxophone; and Charlie Giordano – keyboards. Their most recent tour, The River Tour in 2016-2017, was named 2016’s top global tour by both Billboard and Pollstar.
